Sweetheart,

As for me and how I spend my time - well, before Gracie when I was in pain, all I'd focus on was how much physical pain I was in. Now, that I have Gracie, I don't have the time to put towards all the physical pain I am seriously in. I spend my time playing, smiling and laughing with Gracie when I am home with her.

I am now forced to slow down, and now, I am not allowed to drive until sometime after my surgery, so I am totally dependent on Tom or ??? to drive me where I need to go.

I really don't know exactly where I was headin' with this, other than - when we don't find the time for ourselves on our own there will come a time we are literally forced to do so.

I have wanted a puppy so that I could smile and laugh daily. Praise the Lord - I now have Gracie. I have wanted more one on one time (table for two) with our Lord. I am spending more time talking with Him, singing praises to Him and praying more deeply to Him on others behalf. I also, am enjoying my GreenHouse so much - I have tomatoes, watermelons and cantelopes growing (atleast right now, I need to rid my GreenHouse of Whiteflies before they destroy my produce).

I pray that when my knees are healed that I can truly still be slowed down enough to take more time for what I enjoy doing, including attending church and Life Group.

Due to my injuries, I was forced to slow down.

Boog, I pray that you will be able to pencil in time for you daily, no matter how short of a time you start with. You may find you don't feel as much stress (if you feel stressed now), and that you may accomplish more in many areas of your life.

There is the time, it's there. It may just not feel like it. Get our pencil or pen and paper and start scheduling time for you daily, and follow through - except in case of emergencies or..., or... or even... Don't allow yourself to short change yourself. You are too important to yourself, your family and ME :-D, plus others, to come up short of time for you.

I love you, Mom

PS(a daily to do list works great for most. maybe start with 5 items, then up it after a period of time)
