Activated charcoal capsules is known for helping to eliminate gut gas, and soak up poison in the gut - like from food poisoning. In the ears any infection would adhere o the charcoal which, over time sloughs out the ear. Until then the ears will be blackish inside. I have used the a.c. in my ears and it works.
