Do you know if there was anyone else in the car? Adrenaline makes one unable to express ones thoughts into words--the mind is going so fast but, speech is much slower than our thoughts. It's extremely hard. My mind/ thoughts are almost always on hyper-drive & if I cannot slow my thoughts down and put them into pictures before I speak, I never get out of my mouth what I am actually wanting express. I am just thankful you had the fore thought to not continue to pursue the driver into the woods, dangerous or not. Wow, I am glad you didn’t chase him–for the reasons you stated.
