I have a Ham Infection in my lung…???

We hada rough night last night with Bradey. He was running a fever most of the day (around 100°-101°). We’re not sure from what/where, but we know Logan was also running a fever Sunday night after leaving here.

Anyhow, Bradey just didn’t want to go down. He was crying and had no interest in laying his head down. We finally gothim calmed down a little after 12:15am & I had to get up with Taven about 1:00am because he was having bad dreams (undoubtedly due to the hours of screaming earlier in the night).

Now on to the strange title…

I rarely remember dreams. I specifically recall many years in a row where I could not remember a single dream. Anyhow, I woke up this morning remembering the strangest dream. In all kinds of detail (even more unusual since I usually just remember fragments).

I was leaving a doctor’s office with Melisa and 2 old friends from high school (I haven’t seen these friends since high school in real life). We got in a large car (LOTS of room inside), and I shared the news… I’ve got a ham infection in one of my lungs and that lung was going to have to be removed. I even had some sort of pamphlet that I handed them (maybe this was a common infection?). Apparently I inhaled a piece of ham while eating a ham sandwich and it got lodged in my lung.

I remember we were out of town, or at least some where unfamiliar, and for some reason we sought help at a near-by church. Some how we had heard of a bible study there and thought we’d find some kinds of answer there. It turned out to be a huge Catholic church with the bible study meeting right in the lobby area outside the doors to the sanctuary (where people are all walking around at this time too…???). So we meet the priest leading the study and I try to tell him why we are there, but he hushes me & shows me to a seat (in a small group of about 10 or 12 including the 4 of us).

We start off by a couple of people telling their sad stories, and I remember thinking, “Those aren’t so bad! What do you mean your relationship with your sister could be better? I’m dieing here!”… I think it was probably about 30 minutes of this & we were praying over each person (not having reached me yet), and I look up to see my friends gone, then I see Melisa get up & sneak away. Before she got to the doors, she motioned for me to sneak out too. I did & remember thinking “this was the biggest waste of time!”.

That’s the last thing I remember.

I’m not sure I believe all dreams have some hidden cryptic meaning , but if this one does, I’m a little creeped out by the delivery method (the contents of the dream).

Dude that’s so weird I had a freaky dream last night too. I dreamed about my chin was hurting and I thought I had this huge bump from an ingrown hair. When I began to dig at the bump a weird bug the size of your thumb was under the skin I started freaking out and woke up in a sweat. Weird that you had a freaky dream too.

P.S. I am sorry that we got Bradey sick. Logan is going to Dr. today.

I don’t know if Logan got Bradey sick, or vice versa… Bradey was @ church Sunday, so it’s possible he brought something home & it just didn’t attack him until later. Who knows.
Let us know what the Dr says though… If Bradey doesn’t get better by tomorrow we may make an appt.

What about that ham infection in your lung? Did someone remov the ham or the lung? You know what this means don’t you???

When you lay down tonight, you think about your dream from the night before–not to the point to where you can’t go to sleep, but just a few random thought about it and see if your dream will continue to some type of conclusion.

    You never know it might!!!

I know in about 2004 or so, I use to be able to do that, or even rewrite my dream altogether. I could do that when I had horrific dreams–I’d think of a positive outcome and pray before I fell asleep.

Ok, the ham infection thing is awesome. I seriously just laughed out loud.

I guess this is a dream Kosher Jews would never have.

I had to save you. We can get the ham removed with a new procedure! I love you and your love of ham!
