Another Monday
Our computer has been out of commission for over a month now & I’m starting to feel it. I can’t clear off our camera’s memory cards, I can’t do much at home on a computer, etc… I’ve got a computer at home that is destined to be given away, but we’ve been using it since ours died. I finally got around to buying all the parts I needed to build a new PC and put it together a little over a week ago, but I just finally found the install disks for it Sunday afternoon. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to mess with that this week. Maybe I’ll stay up late a couple of nights or something.
Anyhow, since I haven’t been able to drop new pics on here in a while you may or may not know that Bradey is crawling around like crazy and it pulling up to stand every chance he gets. He still gets stuck standing every now & then because he hasn’t quite mastered the whole getting back down skill yet. It’s a blast.
Melisa is going to a ladies lifegroup on Thursday nights, so I’m alone with the boys for a few hours before they go down. It’s been a fun bonding time with them most weeks. I try to just sit on the ground with them & let them crawl all over me & they love playing together as much as is possible. Taven is still learning what he can and cannot do with such a little playmate. And, of course, he’s thinking “If I can’t push him down with my hands, can I knock him over with my head?” Oh, the fun…
We decided to reschedule getting our trim molding put in because we were supposed to see rain & potentially hail today. So far neither has reared it’s nasty head, so I’m kinda bummed we move it out. We’ll get things finished one of these days.
This weekend I’ll be headed off to the 121 Men’s Retreat. It’s been a blast the last few years, so I expect the same. God has done some major work on me in this setting in the past, so I’m almost a little scared to see what he has in store for me this time around.

Glad you’re going to Men’s Retreat. Know anyone else who is? I talked to Matt Robbins about it, but the jury was still out as of 2nd service yesterday.
Just so you know, you’re not the only one going through the computer woes. I’m working on rebuilding our desktop too. The old one had some serious overheating problems and the fans were getting ridiculously loud. Sounded like a harrier jet in the living room when the computer was on. I’ve had a decent mobo and proc sitting around so started installing everything into it, and now I think I have a bad optical drive cause there are some issues installing the OS…… such is the life of a geek on a budget, eh?
I’m looking forward to the retreat this year too! See you there.
I will have Dad place those computer towers we have in the garage in my trunk before I come and spend the day tomorrow with Melisa and the boys.
Dad is also, going to the Men’s Retreat.
