All moved in
We got 99% of our stuff moved into our new house this weekend. We had the help of some AWESOME friends getting it done & it only took half a day to get the majority of it done.
Have you ever woken up to the oh-so pleasant sound of a rooster “roosting”? Ah… We get to every morning! One of our neighbors a few houses down & across the street has a couple of chickens/roosters & we get to hear them around 6:40 in the morning. Makes me laugh right now, thought I’m sure it’ll get old after a while. We’ll see. Maybe it’ll become something I can’t live without.
We also now have a few pets. A few cats came with the house. They seem to live under my storage building in the back yard. The momma isn’t afraid of me, but hasn’t come up to me yet. She’s got 2 kittens that are adorable & I’ve seen a 4th cat every now & then, but I’m not sure if he lives here or not. We’ve also got lots of froggies & lizards that come out at night.
I guess I’m going to need to get a lawn-mower & rake pretty soon because I’m seeing a lot of leaves cover the lawn & it’s only going to get worse.
Here are a fe wpics we took when we went to do the walk-through to make sure it was all ready for us (all repairs completed as requested, etc…).
Oh, and for those of you still with me, here’s a few snap shots of me being a screwball…

I got a few concerned comments about this haircut… Yes, I was being a screwball & just snapped some pics before I was done shaving the rest of my head… No worries, I never went out in public like that (only because Melisa wouldn’t let me…).

Hey you guys! Your house is AWESOME!! It’s so beautiful. Congrats! And thomas . . . you did shave the remainder of your hair, right??? Fun times.
Are you still going to church in Grapevine? Just wanted to let you know of a good church in the area by your new house. When we lived in Ft. Worth we went to Northwood (northwoodchurch.org) which is in Keller.
