Revive Texas Kick Off
We went to the Revive Texas kick-off meeting tonight. AWESOME!
It was JAM packed with people from all over the metroplex that love God and want to see His kingdom expand.
I’m a bit too tired to really spill all my thoughts out tonight, but I will leave you with this verse & thought:
“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.” John 14:12
Do you believe this? Do you truly believe that followers of Jesus Christ can do greater things than those done by Jesus Christ himself? If you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, do you believe this?
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not asking if you have the power & capability to do as Jesus did from within yourself. Once saved, the power comes from the Holy Spirit that now lives within you. The power to do all things is the power of the resurrection.

If you don’t truly believe that same power lives in you, which of these is getting in your way?
- Sin
- Are you being held back by the sin in your life? Is it dragging you down because you refuse to repent & let it go?
- Ignorance
- If you haven’t heard it before, read it again. Listen to that song again. Let it soak in.
- Fear
- Are you being held back by what you don’t know? Fear of Failure? Fear of the unknown? If this is true, what does God really have in store for you?
- Unbelief
- It’s easy to fall into our natural lives & fail to see God’s supernatural nature. He’s not bound by our mortal, simple, measured world-view. Do you believe the Bible is true? From cover-to-cover flawless & God-breathed. If you believe the Bible is God’s word and you believe Jesus is who he says he is, why wouldn’t you believe this?
